“Statues?” Sounded creepy. Dean hoped not to run into any of those, time travel was usually a pain in the ass anyway. He paused, taking in a slow breath as he listened to Jace speak.

“I know you love her, dude.” Dean smiled a little, how could someone not love Mary? She was the best mom in the entire world. The hunter didn’t really know what to say, and at Jace’s last comment he cringed. “I don’t really want to think about any of that… Ever…” He rubbed at his eyes. “Jack, do you think he’ll come to visit you?”

“Didn’t mean it like that,” He laughed a little. “I mean them raising a kid. I can’t even picture Dad talking to him. He’s….a handful from what I saw,” He shrugged. “He said he would. I guess…I’m gonna be here a long time now. He’s immortal. I’m probably the same as long as no one decides to hunt me. So…We got time. Am I selfish for wanting him to? I mean I got Mom and Dad. Why do I think I need him too?”

*shrugs* Safe enough, as long as the kid’s okay with loud noises. She’s cooled down with the destruction.

Fair enough. I’m just not looking forward to that bursting our little normal family bubble. Hopefully it’s a ways off. Tommy doesn’t really remember when he got his fangs so to speak.
